It’s a zero day! Which means a shorter post and chores galore. Our day consisted of a chilly breakfast at the picnic table, time at the library for me with a quick visit from Oakland, a trip to the Post office to pick up our mail drops, lunch in our room, airing out our gear and drying the tent while playing a bit of cornhole in the blazing sun, more library time for me (complete with watching ducks safely cross the road), food organizing, and another dinner at Anna’s. Tomorrow we set off on a 5-day stretch with that many days of food weighing us down in the hopefully drier but also hotter weather.
